Neapolitan Song Framed Canvas

Drawn with the precision and love of nature and dated 1929, this beautiful design by artist Joseph Stella was originally sketched in the Bronx Botanical Garden, with its exotic plants appearing in an imagined scene from the Bay of Naples. Hence the 'Neapolitan' song is reaching across the sea, bridging the distance between Stella's old home and his adopted country of the United States. Our framed canvas is a 38mm stretched canvas within a traditional picture frame. The simple addition of a wooden picture frame creates a completely new form of wall art, quite distinct to a standard canvas. The thin frame sits approximately 5mm from the edge of the canvas helping create a floating border. Highly recommended for photography and images that make a real statement.
